Easter Morning is Full of Smiles

Ava got to do her first Easter egg hunt this year. She also got to do her second and third. :-) I will probably post some more of the others this week, just because she had so much fun and sure did some funny stuff. For me (Tony), I wouldn't be able to get too creative when it came to putting eggs in a basket. But Ava created all sorts of fun ways to enjoy the colorful eggs in the grass.

Here are some photos from Easter morning. We "hid" some eggs out in the front yard for her to collect before we went to church. But once she discovered the eggs had chocolate inside them, they started going into her mouth instead of into the basket. Sometimes though, she would open up an egg and stare at the chocolate inside... and as she realized what she held in her hands, she would just start laughing and open up her mouth really big. So much fun!

Thank you Jesus for conquering death and sin and laying your life down to save ours and forgive us. You are the reason we can truly smile. All life, joy, hope, and love spring from you.
