Ava's 1-Week-old Birthday!

Ava turned one week old today! I sure do love her the way that she is. I kinda wish she would just stay this tiny. I like the football hold. Being able to grab her with one hand while I dash through the house... I'm sure if she could talk, she might tell me thats not her favorite way to be transported.

The doc saw her this morn. Said she is doing good. She's up 7oz's to 7lb 7oz now. sweet. shes been eating a lot I guess. But how could I have a whole garbage bag full of diapers already, and yet somehow, she is still going up in weight?

Okay, now its time for a funny story that I have been meaning to share for awhile. When we were in the hospital, my sister came to visit us. She brought her husband Josh and her son Hayden. (see far below for photo) Hayden is about to start kindergarten next year. We had the following conversation:
Hayden: Yeah, I don't like those guys, they aren't good enough to be secret agents.
Tony: Why not?
Hayden: Because they are all just a bunch of democwats!
Tony: Really? And why don't you like Democrats?... oh sorry, I mean Democwats?
Hayden: Because... all they do is take your money. And they drive their big cars. And they just take all your money.
Tony: Wow. Now I understand. So are you voting for Hillary then?
Hayden: Whose she?
Tony: A democwat.
Hayden: *shocked look* *Gives me the double thumbs down very dramatically*
