little texan ava

were having a good weekend so far. ava really enjoyed having her grandma margie here this week. im pretty excited about being a father on my very first fathers day. dad, i just want to say thanks. thanks for being a dad and helping me learn how to be a dad. and also thank you for teaching me how to have true colors... redskin colors. i tried to teach ava as she was given her first redskin outfit today. and even though she ended up peeing on it, i know that deep down inside, it was a touching moment for her and she has decided on a life long path of cheering for them.

God is good. we have learned that again and again with each day. thank you Lord for this beautiful girl. were enjoying the gift that you have given us. and thanks so much for all the friends and family you have put in our lives. they really are a help.

i have decided that teressa is "officially" a mom as of now. today, i heard her ask the question, "so, since i don't want to do tooooo much laundry, i need to know how much spit up is too much for a shirt before it needs to be thrown in the hamper?" ha ha.

tress and i got to hang out with danny, susanna, and terry dryden at the r.e.i. scratch and dent sale this morning. fun times.

enjoy the photos. :)

from head to toe: 100% redskin (i didn't even pick this outfit out. ava looked at a closet full of clothes, and i could see her eyes... she was trying tell me... "Dad, that one!"

we love you ava.
