life in da hood

today, teressa took ava to the grocery store and carried her in one of those baby bjorn (sp? sorry, im not french) carriers. she said it was hilarious, because ava has learned how to reach and grab stuff now, so she wanted to grab absolutely everything from the shelves.

i, dad, learned this first hand as well. i had ava on my lap while i ate dinner tonight. but i looked down too late, because ava already had a handful of rice. she sure does take after me a lot...

she also got her first lesson in the word "no" today. after reaching and grabbing something again and again while getting her diaper changed today, tress was able to pull ava's hand away and tell her no. after a couple of times, she kept her hands on her chest and just looked at her mommy... quite interested in this new word.

enjoy da photoz yo.

Hehe, I love that you thought "Björn" was french - it's Swedish! It means "Baby Bear" (very close to Danish - bjørn). Ava I'm sure is very cute in hers!

When you said life in da hood, I was anticipating some story about a crime that happened in The Colony. I'm glad to hear life is still safe for those of us dwelling up north.
