Let's Eat Snow!

We woke up this morning to a great snowy surprise! It has been snowing all day and there is a good few inches on the ground. It may be the most snow that I have seen in Texas since I have been here. It has been a fun winter - I think this is the forth time we have gotten to play in the snow this year.

Ava really loved it. Her Mama taught her how to eat snow, catch snowflakes on her tongue, and throw snowballs at me, her Dada. Once she learned how to throw snowballs, that's when the gloves came off. (not literally) She began to gather snow and would run over to me and put what she could on my shoe. But the snow would stick to her gloves, so after shaking and shaking, she might get a few flakes on my shoe. She would then proceed to let out a "Ha Ha Ha!" I think some of the neighbors think she had just taken over the world when they hear that victorious laugh ringing through the neighborhood.

What a fun snow day. And of course... I had my camera in hand...

What would a snow day be without the "rosy cheeks" photo?
