a wonderful birthday gift

My cute little girl is growing up so fast. Today, after eating Birthday Breakfast as a family, she gave me the best little gift she could. There was music playing in the living room and I asked for a hug as I picked her up. She is usually so full of energy that a 3 second hug is considered a real gem. But this morning she hugged me and layed her head on my shoulder as we danced for about 10 minutes. I have been thinking about her all day.

Then Teressa just sent this photo to my phone - Ava's first french braid! I just wanted to share it :-)
