Our New Kitten

Yesterday were finishing up yet another attempt to have her use her potty chair and as I was putting her diaper back on I was telling her again how when she learned to use the potty chair all of the time and didn't wear a diaper anymore I would buy her a special, special toy. I asked her, "What toy would you like to have when you don't wear diapers anymore?" She thought for a minute and then said, "Pretty outfit."

I think something like this is what she has in mind . . .

Getting all prettied up. Ava loves to put on "make-up" with mommy.

Filling her bucket with sticks and rocks. It's what she does everyday in the backyard.

I didn't even have to show Ava how to pick up her dress when she walked. She started doing that and twirling the minute she put the dress on. Some things just come natural when you're a true princess.

A true lady is always gracious to the paparazzi.

Off to the Trunk or Treat Harvest Party

Mmm. Chocolate. We dolled out her candy over the next few weeks and every time she had to go find her bucket first and we had to put the candy into it before she would eat it. There's always a right way to do things in Ava's mind.
